Today is Hawaii Admission Day

On August 21, 1959, Hawaii became the 50th state of the United States. Trivia fans: Hawaii is the only state that grows coffee. More than one-third of the world's commercial supply of pineapples comes from Hawaii. And... from east to west Hawaii is the widest state in the United States.
