Today is the anniversary of International Human-Powered Flight

In 1979, 26-year-old Bryan Allen flew the 70-pound Gossamer Albatross across the English Channel. It was the first international overseas human-powered flight (a flight of 22 miles). Paul MacCready Jr., known as the "father of human-powered flight," designed that first aircraft.

"Do not fear to be eccentric in opinion, for every opinion now accepted was once eccentric."

I love this little pitcher.

YUMMY: Summer Squash Gratin, I know hubby wants to join this! We make a special trip to Walmart just to buy it, Apricot Tea Cakes

FUN STUFF: I love this and am thinking of ordering it for DSIL Kevin for the birth of his baby boy. Flight Rules - entertaining. We love, love, love our firepit and this link (when it isn't bogged down) will tell you how to make one for $28. What a fun wedding invitation! This backyard reminds me of PA. I would love these for our herbs. Cute baby slippies! Luv the water in the backyard! Cool pool! Huh?

That's all she wrote...hook 'em!
