Today is Jamaica to Cuba Swim Day

In 1999, Australian swimmer Susie Maroney became the first person to swim from Jamaica to Cuba. Her 36-hour swim took place in storm-tossed waves and torrential rainfall, a side effect of
Hurricane Floyd.

"Nobody can go back and start a new beginning, but anyone can start today and make a new ending."
